Royal Ambassadors

For more information on how you can participate in the Royal Ambassadors program, you can email David Ferguson or contact him through the Church Office.

Our leaders this year are David Ferguson and Jason Merriss.  Substitute teachers are Don Nance and Mark Cohoon.

We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20

Missions Education

The Brotherhood Department of the Kentucky Baptist Convention offers gender specific organizations like Baptist Men on Mission, Challengers and Royal Ambassadors as important tools for helping participants learn how Baptists are sharing their faith around the world. Training for new and existing organizations is available for churches, associations, and regions.

Royal Ambassadors undergoes biggest update in 30 years- by James Dotson

August 8th, 2003: ALPHARETTA, Ga. (BP)--A small change being introduced in the Royal Ambassadors pledge this fall is indicative of major changes in store throughout Southern Baptists' traditional missions education program for boys -- the first significant alteration to the RA program in more than 30 years.

"We changed a line so that the whole pledge becomes proactive," said Rob Carr, children's mission education strategist for the North American Mission Board, which produces RA materials for Southern Baptist churches.

"Instead of just learning how the message of Christ is carried around the world, we are now learning how to carry the message of Christ around the world. It's a subtle but significant change."
