The Holy Bible is God’s inspired revelation to humanity, written by human authors under divine guidance. Scripture is completely true, trustworthy, and without error, revealing God’s character, His plan of salvation, and the truth centered in Jesus Christ. The Bible serves as the final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
There is one living and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler of all things, perfect in holiness, power, wisdom, and love. God alone is worthy of our worship, obedience, and devotion.
God the Father
God the Father lovingly rules over His creation with wisdom, power, and grace. He cares for all people and is the spiritual Father of those who place their faith in Jesus Christ.
God the Son
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. Born of the virgin Mary and without sin, He lived in perfect obedience, died on the cross for humanity’s redemption, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven. He now reigns as Lord, intercedes for believers, and will return in power and glory.
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is fully divine and works to reveal truth, convict of sin, and glorify Christ. He indwells every believer, provides spiritual gifts, strengthens Christian character, and empowers the church for worship, service, and evangelism.
Humanity is the special creation of God, made in His image as male and female. Though created innocent and with freedom of choice, mankind fell into sin through disobedience to God. As a result, all people are separated from God and in need of His grace and salvation through Jesus Christ. Because every person is created in God’s image and Christ died for all, every individual has inherent worth, dignity, and deserves love and respect.
Salvation is God’s gift of redemption offered freely to all who place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Through His death and resurrection, believers receive forgiveness, eternal life, and a restored relationship with God. Salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.
Regeneration, or the new birth, is the work of God’s grace by which a person becomes a new creation in Christ. Through the Holy Spirit, individuals are convicted of sin and respond in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
Justification is God’s gracious act of declaring sinners righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. It brings the believer into peace and right relationship with God.
Sanctification is the ongoing process by which believers grow in spiritual maturity and become more like Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Glorification is the final and complete fulfillment of salvation, when believers are fully perfected and forever united with God.
Election is God’s gracious plan by which He saves, transforms, and ultimately glorifies sinners through Jesus Christ. It reflects His wisdom, holiness, and sovereignty while remaining consistent with humanity’s responsibility to respond in faith.
All true believers are secure in Christ and will endure to the end through the power of God. Though believers may struggle with sin and face spiritual hardship, God remains faithful to preserve those who belong to Him unto salvation.
A New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers joined together in faith, worship, fellowship, and the mission of sharing the gospel. Each church operates under the authority of Jesus Christ, following His Word and practicing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Scripture identifies the offices of pastor/elder/overseer and deacon within the church.
The church also refers to the universal Body of Christ, made up of all believers from every nation and generation who have been redeemed through Jesus Christ.
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience that symbolizes faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the believer’s new life in Him.
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of worship in which believers remember Christ’s sacrifice through the bread and cup and look forward to His return.
The Lord’s Day, observed on the first day of the week, commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is set apart for worship, spiritual growth, and devotion, both individually and corporately, under the Lordship of Christ.
Every follower of Christ and every church is called and privileged to make disciples of all nations. New life in Christ produces love for others and a desire to share the gospel. Jesus commands His people to proclaim the gospel, and believers are to faithfully witness through both words and a Christlike life in order to lead others to Him.
God established the family as the foundational institution of human society, consisting of individuals related by marriage, blood, or adoption.
We believe that God commands everyone everywhere to believe the gospel by turning to Him in repentance and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that God will raise the dead bodily and judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to condemnation and eternal conscious punishment and the believer to eternal blessedness and joy with the Lord in the new heaven and the new earth, to the praise of His glorious grace. Amen. (Jn. 5:24, 3:16; Mk. 9:43-50; 2 Thess. 1:9)
Children are a gift from God, to be nurtured in spiritual and moral truth. Parents are responsible for teaching, modeling, and guiding their children in obedience to God, while children are called to honor and obey their parents.
